Hello,

I just returned from a small tour and could not get the drivers door to open from inside. The handle pulls out to 90 degrees but nothing happens. I was released by passenger from outside. I get the feeling the control is via a cable, like a bicycle brake?

Six hour round trip to a dealer so hope I can fix myself.

Any advice would be welcome.

Sorry guess not so second time lucky,
When you pull the lever it pulls a metal rod which clips into a plastic block,
It will keep jumping out of the block. After a couple of goes I fitted zip tie round block and rod. So far, so good

Just take door panel off and it will all make sense
