We are about to install a major upgrade from version 3.x to version 4.x of the script that runs tm-img.com

Yesterday a server upgrade was performed which gives a little more power but increases the number of files that we can handle. This was necessary because with the number of files making up the script and the number of images hosted we were approaching the limit. In reality this upgrade will have little effect on perceived speeds as little processing is actually involved. The user interface will remain the same as it is now but there are significant changes "under the hood". Anyone who wants to know more can check out https://chevereto.com/

In order to do the script upgrade I will need to take a complete backup of the existing script and the database then the new script can be installed. This involves taking the user interface off-line for possibly as much as 4 hours. This should not have any effect on image display in the forum but it will mean that no new images can be uploaded for that period.

The time I have scheduled for the update is 8:00 AM GMT (London time)
