Thanks for all the responses, I take the point about mount security but I've gone with this Wipac driving lamp bracket kit from Williams Morgan all the same.

My thinking is given these brackets are actually MMC made and are seen on so many Morgans they really can't be all bad, with the right closed cell sponge rubber bracket gaskets, large diameter backing washers and careful fitting I'm confident the setup can be made to work without vibration.

Ultimately I prefer the way the MMC brackets create a clean floating effect which will show off the beauty of my Marchal 670/680 fogs that I've fitted with the period correct Marchal yellow globe bulbs, sat behind the clear lenses these bulbs give a lovely subtle golden glow when the fogs are off.

The above look should work well on my bumperless and overider equiped Sport Green Plus 4, which I'm sympathetically back dating to give Monty the vintage club racer vibe.

Can anyone confirm if Morgan incorporated fog light wiring in the harness used on my 2012 Duratec Plus 4, or if I'll need to build a sub loom forward from the fog light relay?

Dave, the loom will include presently redundant blue/yellow wires wiring under each wing probably terminating in female bullet connectors and cable tied out of the way. These are usually fed at the dash end by a fog light control unit that ensures fogs are only allowed on with headlights and will include it's own relay. The optional switch wiring should be in place as well. Look for unused multiway connector with just red/orange and blue/yellow wires.

Excellent Richard, thanks thumbs

This is exactly as I'd hoped, I'll investigate tonight and check the wiring with my multimeter to confirm I've found the correct fog light circuit, I assume the wiring for adding driving lights is hidden in there too so I need to make sure I've located the correct circut thinking

Confirmation the fogs are on the bue/yellow wires helps though, I really appreciate your help cheers

No Dave, MMC provide only front fog light cabling on loom. You can re-purpose this for driving lamps but not have both without additional cabling.

FWIW I find with dedicated LED headlamps there is absolutely no need for additional driving lamps.

Thanks Richard, that works for me as my Marchals are fog lights, for headlights I'm running PL700 tripods that use H4s wich are surprisingly effective and look very period which is my objective for Monty.

TBH the Marchals are as much a styling addition as they are for driving in the fog, but obviously I do want them to work so I'll track down those bue/yellow wires.

Thanks again, Dave.

They look nice, Lucas did a spot / foglamp version that looked very similar with a sort of chrome nipple in the middle of the lens, but they are quite rare now

I had been thinking about mounting some to the back of the overiders, it would require a pair of brackets making up that brings the mount back and sideways toward the grill, but looks possible. Has anyone already attempted this?

I quite fancy spots fitted to my 4/4, but a little worried about holes in the wings

I nearly bought these ones at Williams back in March whilst having a service. I do think they would look good ?

Craig, I bet these are way more sensibly priced than a Mog dealer, and they're stainless too...
