The finish of the 'chassis' should be somewhere in the specification. Traditional 4 wheelers have a galvanised chassis, so my instinct is that the M3W is the same. Somebody on here might know. Not so sure about the wishbones though - somehow I doubt it. Traditional Morgan stub axles are not painted, or at least not in 2005 when mine was built!! The M3W stubs are at least nicely painted.
Tubes though will suffer from condensation inside in extreme conditions, so I would find a way to wax the insides if the factory don't inject wax inside.

As a compulsive fettler, repainting suspension parts has never bothered me. It's a relaxing way to spend a weekend........sad but true.

Just had a look at my Yamaha Grizzly ATW. After being used for five years in the hardest of environment: logging in the forest and draggig home huge overloads of fire wood, removing snow in the winter (four wheel lock and chains - unstopable), racing on gravel roads, on the ice and in the most challenging of terrain...the black painted chassie looks almost like new.

So it is possible to achieve! sherlock
