Returning from nearest town on the single track back roads in the M3W I was caught up by another three wheel machine. I pulled in at a large passing place & a Blackjack Zero pulled in behind. Had a good blether, he had bought a kit from an owner who never started the build. It had taken about 4 years to complete the build & was registered late last year on a 71 plate. Has was the Moto Guzzi engined version. Blackjacks are no longer being produced & he had bought the last seats & leather kits from Blackjack. He lives in the same village as me so likely to meet again. I always liked the Blackjack Zero. Maybe not hugely attractive but the engineering and kit quality was fabulous. I wonder if Richard Oakes tried to sell the rights before ceasing production?
