I’ve been idling time away on the well known auction site and stumbled across an “original” owner’s manual for a 1994 T16 engined plus 4! Ie the correct manual for my very car. Clearly a bit of a prize but the problem is that the seller wants £65 plus postage for it. I suppose my question is as to whether it’s worth it. I’ve a manual for my tin top but but rarely open it so what would I get for my £65 ?
What does the collective thinks ? Anyone got an old one kicking around?

I suppose my question is as to whether it’s worth it. That link from RichardV6 shows it to be 40 pages of possibly largely generic stuff. However, if you want it as part of the "substantiating period documentation" for your car, I say just go ahead and make a not-too-derisory derisory offer. If you're successful and also apply a discount voucher, you'll get it for not much over half the price of a tank of fuel. And where/when are you going to find another ?

Whenever I want to justify buying something like this I just compare it to the price of a meal out of the kind decided on the spur of the moment, rather than an arranged special occasion. A curry for two, a few beers and a taxi home on a Friday night is easily going to be more than this, so buy it and the next time the urge comes on, remember to say to 'er indoors "I'm not really feeling like going out tonight, can't we just curl up in front of the telly instead?"

You used to be abl to get them from the factory. Have you checked that?

Have a look in Gomog in the Handbooks section. There is a 1994 T16 one in there. There is a range of handbooks sent in by various people. I scanned and sent one for my 4/4 cvhefi 1993 car.
