Waikiore, was that on the Coastal Classic? we saw some coming in earlier (slower boats). There was no coverage at all on "One Sports News" very disappointing !! and how was the trip home. We suspected an easterly on cracked sheets, (looking from land).

Little run out to Pitfour Chapel for the Full-Throttle Halloween car meet ..... mostly hot-hatches (some of which were eye-pokingly well presented), but a few oldies and some American muscle .... a really unusual mid-30s Chenard-Walcker possibly the only one of that model in the UK ..... nice bonus was meeting up with a couple of racing pals by chance who were there with their road cars (R500 and Elise) ... all in all a fine way to spend a sunny afternoon ... the old Mog was definitely amongst the most photographed which made me smile. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/10/29/20221029_160239.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/10/29/20221029_160129.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/10/29/20221029_160009.jpg) The Herbie beetle had a Scooby Impreza motor in the back .... was fine to see such an eclectic mix of machinery K

There was a small herd of Mustangs ... the others were more tastfully attired ... I was just amused at the contrast between the engine bays. My pal turned up in his R500 complete with stick on Batmobile wings ... him in a full Batman costume with flying cape and his young son in full zombie makeup (being Halloween there were quite a few fancy-dressers and cars decked out with spiders and skulls) ... they'd come about 50 miles so I guess they got their fair share of quizzical looks on the way 😄 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/10/29/20221029_133516.jpg) K
