A bit late for the Professor but I recommend anyone to try the Worcester branch of A-Plan Insurance They've saved me a lot of money! They must hate my Mum. They've tried to charge her £275 more for her Mini than Churchill Insurance (almost double).

My renewal quote with ERS through Gott and Wynne was £840 last week including pan-European breakdown cover. LV quoted £440, so that was that. G+W are excellent, but there is only so much that they can do.

G+W are excellent, but there is only so much that they can do. Did you have to phone LV? I just tried their online quote system and they don't list either the M3W or the Super3...

The quote was for a Roadster (higher value than most M3Ws), but I did call them to check after getting a price from MoneySupermarket.

Thanks all for the recommendations - I have received a very good quote from G&W which does not require a tracker (only over £80k as highlighted by Richard/Peter).
Also, unless you go for less than 5000 miles p/a, it is an unlimited mileage policy with 90 days European travel included.
Headley are now part of another company (Finch?). I contacted them, and they said that a tracker was almost a given - I gave them all my details but it's been over a week now and they've not come back with a quote - which isn't a great customer experience... G&W came back within minutes. Did you get sorted with insurance in the end? I'm currently shopping around at the minute. I usually use Adrian Flux, though the Super 3 isn't on their system.

Last time I asked LV (good insurer) they had no record of a car called a Morgan 3 wheeler on their systems. I laughed just now to see their online configurer allows for a Morgan F for dates up to 1952, then 2020 on  so clearly their underwriters are assuming the Super 3 is the new F type (impressive deduction!). They do have vintage types like Austin 7s on their configurator so a bit bizarre...
