You put it on when you need it and take it off when you don’t. Amazing.

That’s cool, I didn’t know it was so easy to remove. I didn’t order one as the cost of the car was beginning to spiral out of control. Though I think it would be a good accessory to buy later on if I have a particularly long tour planned.

I also didn’t order the side pannier bags, I kind of wish I did now. Although I’d constantly be worried about it flying off on the motorway like it did when Top Gear Magazine drove one.

Pretty certain that was operator error.

Chris2000tii and Barkbark - when did you guys submit your official spec/order on the Morgan system? No date for mine yet, but I was (apparently) one of the first to submit full spec... just curious as to when mine might be coming based on dates of other early adopters!
Thanks

I paid my deposit early this year, securing my slot then.

I paid my first deposit with the dealership in December 2021. I sent my spec at the end of February 2022.

I wouldn't bother with the side panier bags - they are not waterproof as a certain person found out in Grindelwald...and they collect debris/water on the top flap part unless the panier is packed full.

I would order the side luggage carriers, but use them to attach standard motorbike waterproof bags usiing bungees. The "designer panier bags" and suitcases dont look especially waterproof...
Hmmm I wonder if a bag would attach on the side above the exhaust using bungees on the M3W? Something to experiment with smile
