I have a 1975 4/4 2 seater, I haven't driven it in colder weather for years.

I have the push in/pull out heater control under the dash to the left hand side of the steering column.

Can anyone please tell me if it is pull out for heating (as I suspect) or push in?

I realise, I could go out in the car and play around, but I am not close to it right now and if I know I will be able to get reasonably warm, it may encourage me to take it out in the evening.

Cheers.

It's whatever you think it is, it works by the placebo effect!

If it's any help, I've just popped out and looked at mine and found it's engraved with the legend "Push for heat".

Thank you for taking the trouble to look.

As you say go with the placebo effect, I never have the roof on, so I can now comfort myself that I did "push for heat" when I am shivering!

Cheers
