Winter break ist coming. So I had the last ride for this year.
Next year there should be much more time for the Morgan....

Still love the fact that it is my garage:-)

I hope the Mog survives the grey time. I well remember snow from Oct till May in Bavaria when we lived in Holzkirchen in thecmid 1980s.
Luckily here in Suffolk I can generally drive Belle year round.

Just back from the Taffmog Winter weekend in the Metropole in Llandrindod Wells. Great to meet up again with Taffmoggers and others not seen for a while. Nice run up on Friday with a light lunch stop at The Trout Inn in Beulah ( where you can join the Abergwesyn road over the Devil’s Staircase to Tregaron..a recommended drive if you get the chance). Saturday saw a short run up to the Elan Valley. Sunday was a cross country drive to Ludlow. Christmas Market going on and parking limited but we found the 3 spaces needed. Also found a really nice place for a light bite lunch. It will be visited again I think.
Monday drive home was a detour to Hay on Wye. Nice walk round and toasties in the castle cafe. Then drove home via Brecon/Llandovery.
Weather stayed fairly decent so hood down for the drive up and parts of other runs.
Next year’s weekend booked at checkout as a return weekend planned.

Belle & Bertie reunited for a lovely drive down to Shotley Gate & then onto the Butt & Oyster for lunch. 50 or so miles of bliss on a damp dull day

Were you parked to the North, that might be construed as a criticism of the Morgans...? smile

The handbrake on the Corsa completely disappeared yesterday (thankfully always park in gear) so the old girl was dragged into service this morning.

Very cold and foggy at 6.30am but as usual, she fired straight up and had a reasonable drive into work.

Good things - she is in semi-winter mode already - the roof was on and I'd taken off the aero screens for winter (wiping clean three sides of glass on the move is a pain)

Bad things - still on the summer thermostat (82degrees) so the heater did not get warm at all. Will swap to the 88 at the weekend. Thank the lord for heated seats. And the fog highlighted that my headlamp beam aim is terrible. Will have to find a bit of wall and get the tape measure out to align them properly.

TBM, the couple of times I used my Mog to get to work many years back, on arrival I felt cheated, as the mileage norm for a trip out in the Mog was usually a lot longer than the 10 mile trip to work...!
