A row of those bullet hole transfers might look good too?

Need to tell you: I have just cancelled my M3W contract Multiple reasons but the main is that I have lately had a good cause to reflect a little upon life and priorities… The first M3W prototype struck me with full blown love at first sight when I saw it in February 2011 and I just had to order one at once. But with my recent painfully obtained insights maybe I should instead go for something slightly more "usable" in this northern climate and that fits my needs, time and opportunities better (not just on the odd sunny summer Saturday evenings). I hate to see sports cars eating dust in the garage... The majority of my motoring friends are 200-500 km away and my daily trip to work 170 km (there and back), this is the kind of travel I would love to use my Morgan for on a regular and even daily basis, not forgetting Norway and Austria. Browsing my doubts I recently came across the new 3,7 Roadster…a interesting alternative. Probably boringly civilised and maybe just a half step in the right direction (and with one wheel to many) but at least a Morgan. Unfortunately I can not afford both and stepping up to the Roadster’s price tag will already cause the need of renewed attention and care for the piggy bank . I will wait with my order until seen/driven...want to be 100% sure this is the cure. Not a reason but…during the waiting period I have also obtained five other three wheelers with alu-dressed wooden frame (Fuldamobil NWF200,-54, see my avatar). Yes, it has gone a little out of control…got seriously bitten by the three wheeled bug after Geneva I guess. My dealer has been very professional during this discussion and quickly found a solution. When arranging the paper work regarding the cancellation I had another look at his M3W demonstrator in the show room. It looked even better, faster and shinier than ever…this has not been an easy decision. The M3W is THE Vehicle! I am fully confident in that the M3W today is a fully developed quality product. I will for sure continue to follow the discussions and evaluations at this great forum! I guess I will also be first in line in 2017-19 something…when the M3W mkII arrives…400 kilos and 150 hp (with snow chains, heater and inflatable canopy as options). Take care/Tony

I'm getting one (eventually) for travelling first and foremost. It seems in many ways the better option to me.
I can buy the snow chains, and I can get seat heaters installed. And the canopy? Well, a half-tonneau, umbrella, helmet and speed will have to make up for it (helmet and speed when driving, umbrella when stopped at a light in pouring rain).

Take care/Tony Thanks Tony, I think we fully understand your logic and look forward to hearing more about the 3.7L Roadster once you've had your test drive. It's a shame about the Threewheeler, but look forward to hearing more about your current Threewheeler fleet which sounds interesting; to say the least?

Wondered what that funny shaped 3W Avatar was - didn't fit with any I'd seen... Now I know. Thanks! Good luck with the new Roadster - hope it fulfils your requirements

Wondered what that funny shaped 3W Avatar was - didn't fit with any I'd seen... Hello Graham, the british Noble 200 was a licence of the Fuldamobil. Maybe you or others know that car. The original Fuldamobil was build until the late sixties in Germany. I have in mind that there was also a greek licence which was probably build a bit longer. Keep mogging, Christian

Thanks Christian, I must have a trawl around some of the UK motor museums - must be a Noble 200 somewhere here...

Christian Yes it is amazing what great curves (and two stroke smoke) can do with a man My Avatar are from the same generation as the Messerschmitts, Isettas and Heinkels... Maybe I should have moved this to the Malvern Arms...but to whom it might concern The first Fuldamobils were built in Fulda Germany and under license in Wilhelmshaven (the NWF200) amongst other places. My Fuldamobils are of the Wilhelmshaven aluminum bodied versions (1954-55), double curved alu-sheets dressed on a beech frame and a steel chassies. Weighing empty approx. 350 kilo (full 590kilo) and with a 197cc Ilo M200 V3R motorcycle engine (rebuilt swapping first gear for reverse). A happy day and with lots of guts you can come close to 80 km/h. By hanging up the sofa backrest in straps (hooks in the roof) you can convert it to the only bed-able motorcycle in the world....tadaa They were 2-seaters but I have heard lots of stories about 2+2 families touring Europe in them (kids lying on the rear engine shelf). The NWF200 were produced in 2014 examples and lots of them have rotten away.. The plastic Fulda (2+2, reinforced polyester, not glas fibre, the inside smells like a plastic bucket) where finally developed in Sweden (by a German Adolf Sander) and produced by the Fram King Company in Helsingborg 1957-62 in 411 examples (shells at one time produced in Denmark and transported to Sweden). First they called it the Fram King Fulda shortened the FKF S-7. Ball bearing company SKF did not like the similar name...and it was changed to King (also used King S-7 and King-mobil, driving a King-mobile must have been a nice ego-boost ). "Plastic-Fulda" produced under licence in England: Nobel 200, in Greece as Alta and Attica, in Chile and there are also rumours of production in India. "Alu-Fuldamobil" also in Holland as Bambino. One of my five is driveable and the rest needs lots of wood work, love and care....All photos are of Fuldamobil NWF200 (will renovate wood, electrics, engine and brakes but not repaint them - love the patina). A question for the sharp eyed "spotters": from which vehicle does the rear window come from?
