My car was supposed to be build in week 32 (late August I think), I still have no idea of when I will get it. I'm at the stage where I have just stopped asking the dealer about it now. To be frankly honest, I have kind of lost interest now, if my deposit was refunded I wouldn't be that bothered any more. I guess that is what is bothering me. No communications from the factory, no updates. Build dates come and go with no communications to the customer. Beginning to wonder if they are selling cars or just collecting deposits. Roughly $4,000,000 in deposits and essentially no deliveries

Deposit are paid to the dealer, do they pass them on to MMC or keep them in their own accounts? Whilst I am sure it won't happen, but I sometimes wonder what would happen if a dealer goes bust? The contract is with the dealer not MMC isn't it?
With regard to delivery dates, I rather suspect that they are all on hold in the light of the 'teething ' problems which have come to light, however, either the factory, or more likely the dealers should actually communicate with their customers, not leave them all in silence. Have you checked with your dealer Lance?

Have you checked with your dealer Lance? US dealers have been awaiting a response from the factory, nothing yet

I suspect that until the factory are happy that ALL the teething problems are sorted, and they probably don't know when that will be, they have very little to tell anyone, other than the usual platitudes.

A "quick and dirty" Photoshop it is. But to be really authentic...maybe skip the sticker and instead use a brush and real paint in genuin WWII nose art style. But then you maybe need to be pretty sure you love the motif

How about laying down clear film on the bodywork and then hand painting the nose art?

With the right primer you could probably paint on almost anything. Maybe even test without...a worn effect over time makes the look even better.
