I've been out and about in my Super 3 today, first dry day since I've had it. Loved every minute of it. It does make some noises, especially under full throttle, but it's a real put a smile on your face car...... such fantastic fun.

Mine is proper noisy at times. I’m not talking about the noisy bevel box. I was expecting that. But mine is really squealing under acceleration, is that normal?

Yes, mine squeals under hard acceleration - the wind noise very quickly cancels it out. The colour of yours looks very nice - congratulations and enjoy the rest of the drive.

Yes, mine squeals under hard acceleration - the wind noise very quickly cancels it out. The colour of yours looks very nice - congratulations and enjoy the rest of the drive. The squeal is possibly the belt, the Super 3’s predecessor’s belt squeals under certain conditions if it comes into contact with the sprocket flange. When I drove a Super 3 I could certainly hear the belt.

Great to see some Super 3s getting out into the wild, suspect they will be a riot to drive.
Hopefully I'll get to see one on the road at some point though since I've had my M3W for ten years and in all that time have only seen one other one out on the road apart from at or around organised events I might have a bit of a wait!

Yep, mine is squealing too. Maybe it will lessen as the belt beds in... It makes the car sound like you're spinning the rear wheel up - which causes even more heads to turn in town
