This is why I replaced the gear knob on my 4/4 (identical to that pictured) with one that has no markings. There is no correct orientation.

But at least with markings, it gives a forewarning that it is becoming loose before it suddenly comes off in your hand…(and then won’t simply slide back on until the grub screws are eased back.)
I do a “twist check” as one of my annual service items, as it doesn’t stay tight forever.

Finally I got a call from my dealer last week that my Super 3 had arrived and is being prepared for collection mid January 23 (Insurance and registration is going to take a while). So I could not (yet) take the car home, I could "visit" it and see it the first time for real. love I was a bit nervous about the color because I have never seen a real car in this color. I am very happy with this, goes well with the black seats and the light grey stitching. Additional LED lights will still have to be mounted and the "tail tidy" option done. The "sinister" matte black car from this post further above was by the way just standing behind mine, nice combination...

Really nice colour combination - the seats and stitching work very well. Congratulations and I promise the wait is worth it, you'll enjoy every minute.
