Thank you Jon ... the picture is very helpful. If I interpret correctly, the screws hold the ring adapter. Should be six screws then.

This is the Aston style assembly of parts that fitted to later Trads (minus the bespoke breather tee) only Newton will know if it's compatible with the flush style neck you have on CX models

Thanks Jon ... I'm gathering all the information at the moment. As I said, I asked Newton in an email about retrofitting a CX. I don't expect an answer before next year.... sounds like a heck of a long time smile

As soon as I have an answer I will share it here. Forums are in my opinion give and take

Hi, I had this fitted to my new Plus Four when purchased last April.
Krazy Horse fitted it , Berrybrook are known to fit it also.
I will take a picture when I get a minute.

I really like the present style, but surely it should not jam., even if it is a Morgan.

I suspect the Plus range will use the same, here's a photo from inside the spare wheel well looking at the filler neck from the vent side

I emailed NEWTON and that's what they got back to me.
I'm very interested to know how the dealership did it.

Hi, I seem to be unable to login to photobucket using the suggested details.
Am at a loss how to post a photo of the filler cap.. (I only use an ipad).
Kind regards

Vicar, many people were using Photoshop however we stopped as they made a mess of it.

One of the members has kindly setup the tm-img site as per the video demo above. Other people use other sites as well.

If trying to post the image drives you nuts then personal message me (click on my image and look in the middle for personal message) and I can do it for you.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
