Thanks for posting the 912 pic, I had a much modified 69 version it had more patches than a patchwork quilt and with extended wheel arches under whic lived a set of overly wide Wolfrace alloy wheels...The original version in your pic seems much neater. Don`t know about the front over riders as being original..?

Don`t know about the front over riders as being original..? I don't have a lot of info, but from chatting it's an early short wheelbase model & chrome wheels were unusual, it was a re-import from California on the 90's and is in its original (perhaps repainted) Viper green. Perhaps the over riders were US spec ?

My 1968 911S certainly didn't have overriders - and I have to say I'm thankful for that

Perhaps the over riders were US spec ? Yep US spec 912(I watch too much wheeler dealers - they have converted many a car from US to Euro bumpers)

Picking the +8 from the trimmers, a 20 mile drive back at sunset still wearing my thermals from golf this morning. Drivers seat refurbished.
