Hi All
Wonderful daughter has bought us a factory tour with afternoon tea voucher for Christmas.
I saw recently (somewhere) a recommendation for a ‘nice’ hotel near the factory with secure parking. Any ideas?

Whilst over in that part of the world I would take time to enjoy the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and historic villages, the forgotten part of England. The roads are fantastic Morgan driving roads with beautiful scenery, I am somewhat biased as I lived there before moving to the USA. I highly recommend Lowe Farm Bed and Breakfast which is in Pembridge on the Black and White Trail run by our award winning friends Juliet and Clive, it is about a 40 minutes drive from Malvern:

The Abbey Hotel is somewhat passed it best I fear , fine for a dinner dance with lots of company , but for a nice couples break then I would go for The Cottage in the Wood everytime.

Lovely views out over the Vale of Severn , good cuisine and very comfortable , plus the Beacon ( and other hills) can be walked directly from the hotel grounds.

Agreed, the Cottage in the Wood has " that something" that the Abby lacks.

Last time we went there, Ana Maria and I stayed at the Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcester.

We found the place really charming, and the price was fantastic according to our standards and the services and quality offered.

It's just 10min drive from the MMC.
