Any recommendations from the Talkmorgan Hive mind for a durable outdoor car cover for the Plus 4? Needs to be able to protect the car for up to a week at a time outdoors! Thanks in advance!

Classic additions outdoor cover is really good, water proof and breathable. I take mine on holidays and use it every night while we are away, it also acts as a deterrent from prying eyes as nobody knows what car is underneath it :-) https://www.classicadditions.com/ca..._R1AY2mwb8etMQ9E1UgMy2pnON8aAmu0EALw_wcB

Very pleased with this one from Storm Car Covers. Just look at the spec. Reasonable price and fits in included valise. Had mine for over four years now and used it for weeks on end in heavy rain and winds with no water ingress or chaffing. Elasticated front and rear with two underbody straps. I have their optional locking security strap as well to deter the curious

Mine's outdoors all day, every day. Had a Morganhoods one, and it latest well for about 12 months and then lost all 'proofing' and was just like a wet towel on the car. I have a Cover Systems one, but much better, and has door zips so you can pop into the cab with removing the cover. Bit more pricey, but you get what you pay for, Cover Systems![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/05/09/MD9XEn5VB6Zdl8oujYqpe-nI4M4ZkKexGQsf3-H5ohvp48PLZM0_G-hr5jKefm_EgZMl2MT_Aa7wIvs3-HHPyhBlleH_Wm61HJO9pxpFwAh_Qh7pFnl7WqGpA-7walXs7fpCFfgwmMLZCw4Bgzn_jD7McJsa2K5gny4F3iKiy6zFFndxRHYgZuX4FQmGO6Q1tpparT1U.md.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/05/09/GoasGXf_homIv8_28R3KfdFESIsWphrblFw-0DBIKLy_4feoDVrnHv-g1u_eEm-yiHhIMxjVEEPcK80gqN1_StKOnUV3LOdm8NhPe6BVoGVcmnz-0z53RXRxgT2lq-3aMj_skVSFw0lEWRWDhdE96BbZPi5gIW6ryPKF-ba2IXQ2A11ZzVJdyz5spzF5t7yZpCv3zSHh.md.jpg)

Mine is out all the time too, got a cover from Specialised Covers. You want a 3 or 4 layer one, made for the car (not just 'any' Morgan), but they're more expensive. I expect mine to last about 2 or maybe 3 years? From their website... Stormshield + Outdoor
Starting from £299.00
Stormshield + is our long-term outdoor storage option. The cover is made to last and has a fleecy inner lining to further protect your paintwork. The tri-laminate spunbond non-woven textile is breathable and waterproof, the central film allows vapour to pass through in one direction whilst water and dirt cannot penetrate. The cover also comes with additional options not available on the Stormshield. If you are looking for an outdoor cover that is hard wearing and long lasting, this is the cover for you.

I've used two Specialised covers on my (red) Golf over nine years. The first one got badly burned when the neighbour did something with his woodburner which burned over 60 holes in it.
The second one has survived, but certain weather conditions cause serous condensation under the cover. I no longer use it because after nine years abrasion has revealed a thin strip of primer on a crease line, and sundry other wear patches in the lacquer.
I always cleaned the Golf before putting it on.
