Reading between the lines moggywills it appears your 2017 Roadster has the factory 5 link rear although this was not introduced into production until April 2018. Could it be, being an ex Geneva car, this was displaying what was to come?

Mind you there is a £5k invoice in the history file for SSL modifications, which I took to mean the SSL coilovers to replace the original Morgan factory installs plus front end. Another nice feature ( i am told) is that the factory added a few extra coats of the willow green paint so that it shone under the Geneva show spotlights !!

My car doesn't rev hang but then it has the MMC fix costing £2.5k in 2016! Done by the PO. I'm glad you are enjoying the 4 seater. The heated screens never work well, a cloth does. The box is not as good as the Getrag one in the S1 Roadster I had till it was T boned. Having said that I now start off in second & find on twistys 3 & 4 th = fun. 6th is the over run for M ways.
The air box restricts the car. A K&N helps but also on here is a thread on opening up the air box.
I fitted cruise control which is a blessing with some many avg speed camera here in E Anglia & makes touring a doddle.
I fitted a start button for the grin factor, it does it for me every time & is dead easy to fit. BHM can supply them..
As we tour a lot I upgraded to an ali rad. It also reduces fan noise & keeps the car cooler.
I fitted LED lights including headlights to be seen & to drive at night easily.
Access to the front UJ to grease was impossible so I cut holes in the gearbox cover. The thread is on here.
I fitted a Wolff throttle pedal as I found my size 11s got caught under the break when coming off the power.
I wish you many more happy miles.

Jon, everyone has answered all your queries, IIRC at the Geneva show Steve Morris announced a new suspension system was being trialled in the 3.7's but little detail was given (it was eventually the 5 link we know today)
Oh, your clock should illuminate with the other dials, if you lower the undertray you can wriggle your hand in the gap to slide the bulb out of the back, it's a very basic '501' ref (I swopped mine to a blue tinted LED to match the other dials)

This is what the factory 5 link looks like with the dual rate SSL coilover upgrade. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/IP7wzAK.jpg) As can be seen the trailing links are attached to brackets welded to rear axle but the SSL leaf spring upgrade is a bolt on retro-fit. I mention this as £5k sounds a lot for just SSL coil overs and front upgrade.

Hi Aerotaff, you are correct awaiting delivery, just adding a few extras. It will be a different animal to the Aero, but with the current suspension upgrades and around 10% less power it certainly handled exceptionally well during the test drive Will we see you back in a Morgan soon ? in any case "Blwyddyn Newydd Dda" I will pass on your regards to the Deva Mog crew.

If you are considering replacing the OE slab air filter with K & N equivalent (as many have) please note you need the earlier 3.7 V6 Mustang version, 2011 - 2013, to match airbox. I believe this is part number KN #33-2431.
