"and some Super 3s are leaving with the camber angle incorrectly set. I am assured a visit to my local agent to check the front suspension and adjust as required will sort the problem"
Hopefully it is a simple camber fix, but a dealer with a geometry flat floor wasn't able to correct their demo car that had this issue, so it had to be returned to factory. Lets hope its nothing more serious......
My dealer (who prepares and sets-up race cars) could not fix the geometry either and had to send my Super 3 back to the factory too...

It's ok, Morgan assuring that the dealers can fix them! Tool up M3W Services/PB etc. Not such a big deal for UK mainland buyers but where does this leave the ROW owners?

Traditionally, all new Morgans were taken for a test drive prior to dispatch from the factory. Obviously, this no longer seems to be the case!

Traditionally, many buyers waited until version 2 of a car so Morgan can sort all these issues out. Also traditionally, a true Morganista is one who puts up with these sorts of snags in the short term to benefit from long-term ownership (/stewardship) of a special car!

Update on the shoddy paint on the front end. I put some PPF on the longer tubes to stop any future stone chips. The PPF actually started to peel off taking the paint with it. This is proper car PPF that when removing will not affect your paint. I think the pictures show just how bad the paint is. I’ve sent them to the dealer hoping they will cover the cost of me getting my mechanic to remove them and send them off to get Cerakoted. There’s a company in NI that does the Cerakote and apparently you can hit it with a hammer and it won’t chip. Though now I’m worried that if I take apart the front end, I won’t be able to get them on again without affecting the alignment. And reading the above comments about the cars being death traps if the alignment is wrong, I’m now worried I’ll have to then send my car to the factory to get it set-up correctly again. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/23/1E4DC979-F6EA-4ABA-B09C-27EEC85887E9.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/23/1DFF050F-79EF-4C75-A2A2-F1E97795DDCA.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/23/2441B5EE-1CEC-44A3-A8CE-401C40CC6ABA.jpeg)

My Roadster was, but you can't (legally) get above about 30mph, on the local roads, I think it's more of a 'bedding in' than full speed shakedown test (well, apart from the Aero8 write off) Mainstream manufacturers have rolling roads, simulated Belgium cobble tracks and sealed wet leak test chambers...for a reason

Happy to report that every Bentley coming off the production line still goes for a drive around Cheshire. It's a lovely sight seeing them on the move!

So an update from my dealer regarding my issues, which might be of interest to Chris2000tii. My Super 3 was returned to the factory for resolving of handling issues and a fuel system whine, however, there is clearly a corrosion issue on early cars. Before they have started on the work I requested, they have "started at the rear of the car looking to replace components that have seen an upgrade in quality of component. e.g. the exhaust hanger and replaced any other parts that showed any sign of corrosion they then covered the components with anti corrosion coating". So the factory must be concerned about underpinnings not being sufficiently protected against corrosion. I was surprised to hear about the exhaust hanger being upgraded, I didn't know there was an issue with them.

I find all this difficult to understand given that Morgan reportedly asked its pre-production models to be put through many thousands of miles of road testing. Should these issues not have been spotted then?
