Thank you Richard. I took a look at the front set up and it looks quite a challenge! I have a ride height measuring tool from my days of racing a Caterham 7 so that will be helpful in setting up, but my racing days were 20 years ago and I don’t have the same facilities available to me now!

Just to be clear Ashley there is no ride height adjustment on the SSL RS front kit once fitted. The main spring pre-load adjustment is provided solely to allow zero static pre-load on the rebound spring with no play either. This ensures that the rebound spring is not in play during first part of suspension compression thus avoiding an initial very high spring rate. Also that anti-roll is immediately effective as suspension unloaded, in turn reducing front end bounce. It so allows correction of a weakness in the OE design which cannot allow for main spring settling.
The provided instruction sheet does mention an included 20mm spacer usually fitted immediately below stub axle to maintain ride height. It can be fitted above though to raise ride height.
Finally, fitting may seem onerous but the only fiddly part for me was engaging kingpin bolt with the fine kingpin threads. One side engaged immediately the other not. A suitably short tapered drift helps here to align the parts the bolt has first to fit through.

Mine has the spacer fitted above to raise the ride height, very worthwhile considering if you live in an area with zero road maintenance and bloody potholes upto 4" deep everywhere, the sump on a Roadster is very exposed

Front and rear SSL dampers and springs now fitted, chose not to do it myself but Techniques Stotfold fitted for me, handy as less than 15 minutes away. Felt the transformation within 200 metres of leaving there premises, really pleased with the change!

Unchanged, ie not increased it! I found, probably the same as you Ashley, that with the SSL supplied 20mm spacer fitted below the stub axle, ride height remained roughly the same on my Roadster. No grounding issues either excepting the odd rogue speed bump which happened before I fitted the SSL kit as well. As it's the gearbox cross member that makes contact on these rare occasions, there is virtually no way the sump could be vulnerable.
