Refurbished my steering wheel.

It's been on my to do list for a while, previous owner had scrapped off quite a lot of varnish around the rim, probably on a belt buckle. Now sanded, stained and 1st coat of varnish applied, looking much better.

Road tested the new T Trac 2 tyres this afternoon, really grip well (without screeching) compared to the old Continentals.

I’ve been prepping the Mog for it’s Control Technique which is due the end of this month; brakes stripped, cleaned and inspected, a wizz round with the grease gun, cross head stays, bumper brackets and wings stays removed, stripped and repainted (I know, they’re just cosmetic!), front indicators stripped, de rusted (again) and all lights checked, this week I’ll change the oil and filter and have a run out if work allows.

Jacked the car up to have a look for anything causing the annoying rattle I have. Iund a couple of loose bolts securing the front under tray. Gave them a rattle and from the sound I think I've found the problem. Have the underneath of the duff a good going over with some acf50. As can be seen from the below pictures, my prop shaft nipples were on show so gave the from 2 a couple of squirts each. Don't think I got anything in to the rear one as there was quite a bit of resistance, and didn't want to force it. Is this resistance normal?

Leroy, sometimes if the nipple hasn't been used for a while the tiny ball that you just see part of (acts as a sort of spring loaded no-return valve) can jam shut, before applying the 'gun' just depress with the end of a small screwdriver & re-grease

Agreed and propshaft nipples are often overlooked especially at the front

Great advice, I'll give that a go next time it's in the air.
