Back in the summer petrol at our local fuelling pontoon which you pay road duty on topped over £9 a gallon. Garages are not very happy if you fill more than one jerry can so if you want 15 gallons I have to go to three different petrol stations for the privilege. Oh the good old days remember a quid in the tank for saturday night.

Couple of weekends ago we were on an overnighter with some Taffmog members. Based in Usk. Driving home through Abergavenny we passed a garage selling at 139.9/l.
A tip if driving in that area. The A465Heads of the Valleys road still has HUGE roadworks and impressive bridge building Section is from Hirwaun up towards Ebbw Vale. The Abergavenny end is clear but average speed cameras for a 50 limit. A superb new dual carriageway road but a 50 limit. Really? OK perhaps on the steeper Llanelly Hill part but......
Took the A40 return route was a nicer run and didn’t want the massive roadworks again. Abergavenny, Brecon, Llandovery route.

Another price hike....hotels. Looking at hotels in Cardiff for sospan jnr’s wedding in late May. Add in overnight parking as most charge now.

Sospan, add in everything, not just the parking. Anything that used to be useful and included is now an extra in pretty much all hotels.
It is becoming as bad as ryanair and easyjet in terms of how they handle things.
Just booked a hotel for Hull today.
Breakfast was an additional £18. This was a HolidayInn Express not an Intercontinental.
Worse, if you don't pre-pay breakfast it is £20 on the day.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
