Quite a few people have replaced theirs with knock on spinners, so there should be a lot knocking about. I removed my centre nuts and fitted 2-eared spinners. The chrome is excellent. Could save you a lot of work -- available for the cost of postge plus a £50 donation to charity. I'm not sure where you are based but Dan at Krazy Horse also has a process to ceramic coat them in many colours including a brass type finish
