With Kevin, Stephen & Gary we visited Duxford today for a "Hurricane tour" where our guide spend 1 1/2 hrs taking us close to these planes and giving the history of each some . Some of which fought at Dunkirk or in the battle of Britain.
Well worth it if you get the chance.

Impressive, sorry I missed this event but a lot on at the moment. Fitting that I'm just finishing the book "Air Force Blue" by Patrick Bishop which documents all theatres of the RAF in the lead up and during WW2, illustrated by interviews, anecdotes and diaries from those involved.

Really great trip to Duxford with John, Gary and Stephen. Lots of cleaning to do now - the roads were filthy! Brilliant exhibition and talk on the Hurricane.
