110k list new.

With only 20RHD cars made, it seems odd this one is being listed so cheaply. However the brown wood with the red leather is possibly a colour combination that is a bit marmite for a lot of folks...

£110,000 was the base price + options (which really boiled down to Automatic, side exhausts, sport exhaust, upgraded stereo and quilted leather; there were also special paints and leathers).

As I have said before, the Hammond car set the bar lower than it should have been. If you notice the dealer sells predominantly Porsche product. As the Aeromax does not list in the guide books, the dealer will have worked out a rough value based on standard depreciation and also other cars for sale on the market. Given the low number of RHD cars and limited production run, I'd say he has under priced this example by £10,000. If it checks out, hasn't had any accident damage and is in excellent condition, I'd say this would be a very good buy for someone.

As Rich has said, it looks like the car owned by RPM, which was up at £110,000 until the Hammond car came on the market. I remember speaking to Russell at the time and he described the car as in like-new condition.

Assuming new price of £120k, £90k after about 2.5 years is pretty good residual.

why were so few made?

Interesting - only contact details are a web form and a mobile phone number.
No company info otherwise?

Do classic 2.7 911s really fetch near £210k??

Hammond's car was well known as having been accident repaired, even if it was 'minor'.

1 for every year of Morgan Motor Company's history.

They were build for the Centenary.

11 went to the USA
20 (approximately) were made in RHD
The rest were LHD - circa 69.

2 of the RHD ones have been written off (there may be others I do not know of) and as Graham said, Hammond wrote about his accident(s) in Top Gear (I believe he had a few but one was larger than the others).

Ignoring the dragster, I think the biggest shunt his 'Max suffered was just 9 miles from me, on the Gloucester by-pass, where he would turn right onto the A417 to head toward Ledbury...
