Hi All,
Just returned from my first proper road trip in the Six.
London to Amsterdam, 4 days in the city and back.
Lovely to get to know the car better after some solid hours at the wheel.

There’s still a strange grinding sound from the back at low speed that I need to get looked at, but otherwise flawless.
Certainly a popular car in Europe!

Many years ago (my first Mog) I used to leave a bottle of wine on the passenger seat, park it on the high street or somewhere. Nobody ever stole it. I used to wonder if it was just too easy or if maybe the baddies thought candid camera was around.

superb. When we see those pictures i wonder wy we are worried about the future of morgan.

Not stolen but Amsterdam is known for an extremely high number of cars being broken into and the contents stolen. The cause is acquisitive crime due to the extremely high number of drug addicts.
I once spent a week with friends in Amsterdam. The warnings of these acquaintances were very strong.

Yes I can get a bit rowdy depending on where you are.
I made sure to find a hotel with secure underground parking.

To explain:
To the apartment of my acquaintance belonged a private underground garage only for the 6 apartments in the house.
Each parking space in the garage was additionally secured with a kind of lattice cages!
