Hi,
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can buy either a new or refurbished starter motor to fit my 1986 Morgan 4/4 with a Fiat 2 litre engine.
Took it to my local garage who were unable to source a replacement from local auto suppliers. Probably because it’s an old discontinued part?
Thanks Smuggs.

FIAT 131 possibly. Alternatively take the starter to one of the refurb companies - there's probably one near you.

I would be tempted to find a high torque low current starter equivalent

see here https://www.powerlite-units.com/high-torque-starter-motors.html
