The seller has called for the SL 1,700 K € 😱 You are so right Clemens - pay peanuts and get monkeys always, quality costs but always worth it as the satisfaction remains long after the bill is paid . So true! (& I don't need much of an excuse to show pics of pretty cars....) BTW this 300SL has the colour which my 4/4 borrowed from her. „DB 190“ (Daimler Benz, DB, was the name of the company then) Graphite grey with a slight touch of green in the sunlight, if you have a look at my avatar.

Those early Mercs were indeed something rather special, they ever looked carved out of the solid and even more so under the bonnet.. Great pics, thanks for posting.
