Nope, I knew what I was buying, that includes why I did not buy a M3W.

My view is simple, if you’re going to moan about ‘this is and that is not good enough’, don’t buy it, and if you’re buying it for an investment, same applies - my Super 3 is for smiles, laughs and giggles, including it’s made by a tiny company and comes with the many ups and downs that entails.

Any form of social media that only exists for lovies to say how wonderful everything is in the world would be a pretty boring place. If you do not want to read about complaints or observations re Morgan, i respectfully suggest that you are on the wrong forum.

It’s very simple, I know what I’ve purchased - good and bad. Just because I don’t publicise all of the issues I’ve had, I have some, does not mean they don’t exist. For me I expected a number and enjoy talking with the team at the factory about them and seeing how they evolve the product based on the feedback. This for me is part of the joy of owning a Morgan or the like. Each to their own and expressing their views - good and bad, we learn from each. If you’re up for an argument, sorry but I can’t be arsed, life is to short. What’s important is a smile, the bigger the better. Seeing my 80 year old Mum beaming when we were out in my Super 3 on it’s very own makes every £ spent worthwhile.

There again, it's only through publicising issues that other owners and potential owners can benefit.

Without this forum I doubt that many of the M3W problems would have been resolved.

It also keeps the factory "honest" wink

I would like to add that i have been nothing but complementary about the images that new super 3 owners have posted of their cars and the Super 3 in general.

I think it is a wonderful thing, feels full of quality and am sure it will become very successful.

We have spent a week agonising over the visibility issues encountered by my wife. Due to legislation the thing sits higher and we and others feel you sit on it and not in it. Therefore raising the seat via a bolster or the like is not an option for my wife.

Speaking to dealers they feel that the flyscreen's coming through this week have improved and suffer much less distortion. So that is positive, Morgan it appears have listened.

It was stated earlier that "this is not a competition" externally it is not but internally the sets of keys of the Super 3 will sit next to those of the m3w and will have to compete. There are many owners with many more sets..

After a week of deliberation and return visits to the dealer we have come to the conclusion that for any journey of less than 50 miles, the Super 3 would lose the contest every time.

Frankly as good as it is, in our opinion it is too good, the ride in comparison felt like being in a 4 wheel sportscar, so just as well have one with a roof option. We now await the arrival of the KH Plus 4 ex demo.

I wish all current and future Super 3 owners much fun and many many happy miles. I will watch on with great envy because if were just down to me the Super 3 would have made it home, White, complete with Martini Racing Livery.

Just a side note, I love all your comments and what works/ what may not work. I haven't been able to see the car in real life and not being able to drive it (being located in California) so I really appreciate all your comments and inputs. For some any odd reasons, I bought something unseen and not driven. It is totally crazy (mid life crisis crazy) and it makes no real sense. But the more I think about it, the more i think it is the exact Supper 3 car appeal... I hope to be one of the first one driving a super 3 on highway 1 between Los Angeles and San Francisco and yes, I may be stranded (hopefully the weather will be better than Norway), the belt may squick or the yellow tinted can distort the view (I'm 5"6 ) but I know for sure I will have the pacific 180 view on 1 side and that right there is worth it !

PS: I really like all the Engineers on the thread, trying to figure how we can optimize this!

I do not believe that you will regret it. Pictures do not do it justice and worst case scenario, a Super 3 on the ground could well carry a premium on whatever it has cost you (in the early days of the production at least)

The wide open roads of the US are tailor made for it, so visibility will not be an issue imo.

As we are both enthusiastic drivers so a purchase has to be right for both of us and one size never fits all.

We have spent £20,000 ( $16700) more on a plus four than the Super 3 would have cost, yet i feel i am getting less than i would have got from the Super 3.

Look forward to your pics.

I am a Manufacturing Engineer, previously at Lucid Motors (also Fisker,Karma and Nissan) currently with LiveWire (The EV part of Harley-Davidson). Im seriously considering ordering a Super 3.
My 2 nearest dealers are Morgan West and Rosso Corsa, and I am near Phoenix AZ so 432 miles and 409 miles away, so not wanting to make this drive too many times, will the factory warranty be ok with me carrying out oil changes/ drive belt tensioning / inspections with any issues being dealt with by the dealership?

It’s always fun. Only item from this morning was my right hand getting cold! The airflow hits your right hand as it’s not quite protected by the little screens. Whilst here, Morgan let me join a factory tour. Having not seen the full factory for 5 years, it was eye opening how much its evolved. This includes the Super 3 build - it’d moved on a bit since saw mine being built over a few days.
