Bought : A not used M3W Bevel Box
Thanks to Steve and Chas I could buy 2 old Bevel-boxes for my project to try to improve them.
A lot of Thanks to Nigel Smith for all the valuable information he has send.
To Phil Bleazey for good tips and Ian Brett for his support.
After weeks I even got an offer for a new one from MMC for UKP 3154 and shipping UKP 103. Because VAT was not deductible there will come an extra 20% and over that 10% for importing this to France. Which makes the costs for a new one delivered in EU around UKP 4,300 = € 4.828.
And in that case we still do not know the specs of the chosen materials inside.
We have started already to open the B.B. ( Betty Boop 😉 ) and have found already several interesting issues.
When we are done with one, we will keep you informed at TM

As I understand it Billy Bellinger, who is well known in the Morgan 4 wheeler world, is able to rework bevel boxes to produce a quiet unit. Mine is already quiet otherwise I would be using his services.

Maybe - but if you buy a brand new BB from Morgan you roll the dice as to whether it will be quiet or not.

I don't think he's set the pricing yet as it depends on demand but it should be significantly less than a new BB from MMC and will be guaranteed to be quiet.
