Good result Dave Glad you are fitting the trumpets facing downwards. TBH this was something on your first mounting that grated with me although this is my first mention Mine are facing forward with no issues, then again avoid wet weather as its no fun. I never bothered with the faffing about with extra wiring with relays etc...i just swapped over plug and play. 3 years with no issues. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2023/03/08/C4D50097-74D3-46E8-9C3E-8E3E56CB4C7E.jpeg)

Why mount anything in front of the radiator which potentially interrupts airflow, there must be space behind the bodywork?

I have zero concerns with overheating, I run a vinyl number plate on the front wing so no number plate box, and if anything my deeper and far more efficient SiFab aluminium radiator over cools. Anyway, once the air has entered past the grill and is in the void between it and the rad, it only has one place to go. Horns or no horns, all that air has got to pass through the rad Dave.

Personally, I am always afraid that aluminium loaded with weight will break due to vibrations.

I have only good experiences with aluminum, even with additional weight, on a Harley. And a Dyna without balance shaft has viberationen without end
