The steering column shroud that you refer to is the only thing that in my opinion spoils the interior of the current Morgans. I don't know if Morgan had it especially made or it comes from a Land Rover or such like...but while the ugly standard wheel may work with it, most people seem to opt for the MotoLita wheel and you then get that ugly gap. I have bought a new shroud from Allon White. It is a bit shorter than the standard one, revealing more of the boss and has a neat return face on it which hides that gap. Mine was covered in the standard Saddle Tan leather my Sport comes with and bespoke leather will cost more, but its worth looking at what they do.

Congratulations on your choice. I am really pleased with my Roadster, in its 3rd year with me and it has been faultless, just the usual servicing requirements. I, like you, did not like the original sound and had the Librands exhaust system fitted by the dealer before collection. The area behind the steering wheel has a stainless shroud and looks a lot better than the original arrangement.

Cicerone, I live in the very most south part of Sweden, close to Malmoe and have just 40 minutes to Copenhagen Airport. We do not usually have snow here, but the last two winters has been terrible with low temperatures and a lot of snow. No open driving and no golf.
Budster, yes isn´t it. There was another guy from The Netherlands interested in the car but he wanted it converted to left hand drive, but I laid my hands on it first. My present Morgan +4 1959 is a right hand drive and I have no problems with that. An english car has the wheel on the RIGHT side, says all my friends Morgan fundamentalist.

MK Holztechnik in Germany have them and they look very good on website; lot better option than covering the too large plastic cowl with leather

Just checked out your blog, some nice photos, bet you can't wait to pick up your new Mog. If the tyres are the original set that makes them almost 8 yrs old, I would seriously consider investing in 5 new tyres.

Actually it is impossible to find your blog using a Google search because there is a company called Morgan Hunt with hundreds of search results.

I suggest you insert links in your posts. To do that first you need to copy the url of the web page you want to link to. Depending on your browser you may be able to do this by right clicking on the address at the top of your browser window and then selecting "copy" (or highlight the url and use Ctrl c).

In your post click on the "create a link to a web page" button (second on the left, next to the Smilies button - it looks like a small world globe with a chain link) then in the field insert your link. Right click and paste (or Ctrl v) will function here. Click on OK and then insert some text or re-insert the url. Click OK again and you have your link. Naturally you can also type in the url without using copy and paste if you prefer.
