Ah, so when it mentions "commissioned by a prominent Morgan collector" it means someone who collected Morgan as opposed to the cars!
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I wonder if there was a 'Morgan fan' on the board of InvestIndustrial who was the driving force behind the aquisition?

Looks like, that this "beach buggy" was already in build when I visited Malvern Link in September 2021 ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/03/12/IMG_2001.jpeg)

The more I see it the more I like it/love it/want one.... When/if I have a villa on the Med and a mega yacht I will be placing my order.
Surely its the same platform, and just a variation of, the CX-T off roader, a very niche toy for very wealthy car enthusiasts. I loved the 'life car' concept and was really happy to see it become the SP1. It was MMC showing what they can do. Brilliant.
As has been said many times, the CX cars are 'expensive' when compared to 'trad' chassis cars, and the question has been asked "where is the market". Perhaps bespoke cars for the very wealthy could be a profitably option for MMC.
Just another thought on the words 'expensive' and 'wealthy'. They're very much like the word 'affordable' when used to describe starter homes, food, child care, health care etc etc etc. Affordability, wealth and expensive are all subjective. If you've got the money, get on and spend it on things that make you happy. If the owner of the car in question got it at 'cost' because they own a piece of the factory, who cares, the publicity it generates and the features that will be written on it are priceless, it saves on the advertising budget of MMC.
A Morgan is a toy nowadays. Very few owners use them all year round, very few use them if its cold/wet/windy or in fact any weather condition that isn't perfect. Other road users and pedestrians often see the cars in a very positive light but I'm sure there are many who thing 'look at that flash git' they must be rich/wealthy etc etc.

You're both right. It definitely is a trad. I didn't really look at the factory photo just the finished car. I still like it though.....😆 A CX version would be the next step. When I order one for my mega yacht and villa it'll be a CX version........
