I have now put some permanent anti puncture gloop in my front tyres. However I inadvertently discovered how effective it is when I tried filling through the air valve pipe. It became more and more difficult to squirt the stuff into the tyre (yes I had removed the valve) and so I gave it a puff of air and that was it. Now fully blocked. Went my local garage to clear the blockage and ended up by splitting each tyre off one rim, squirting directly into the tyre and re inflating. I believe the problem lies with the 90° bend in the valve pipe.
For those who ordered the tall screen option. Having waited 10 weeks for the tall screen I ordered with the vehicle I have opted for the fly screens and have removed the seat squab and I am now sitting on a vey much thinner base so that my head gets some wind protection, I am 6’3”. I found I am to be charged spare parts prices and not the list price and I have lodged a complaint with Malvern given that it not my fault they can’t supply the screen. I was told that the tall screen is not likely to appear any time soon if at all.

Hi Graeme
Thanks for the tip about anti-puncture goo. Does it have a brand name?
I'm touring France later this year and was going to buy a spare front tyre and lash it to the rear exo-rack, but anti-puncture goo might be a more cost effective option...
God knows how much a front tyre for the Super 3 is... I'm frightened to ask my dealer!!

We asked about this on our factory tour last October. I think the answer was "around £230 each".
I did run a puncture prevention goop in my front tyres for a while but removed it because the front end felt a bit 'lumpy'. However, that was in the (smaller) M3W tyres fitted with inner tubes. I now run tubeless tyres and carry a puncture repair kit along with a very small compressor.

I guess that's one advantage of inner tubes - easier to carry than a tyre!
But I have often wondered about carry a spare wheel on and M3W or Super3. I wonder if 1 would mount on the sideblade luggage carrier on the Super3?

My Coda Sedan doesn't have a spare, I carry a set of tire plugs and an electric pump, its got me out of trouble once already.

Hi ProfessorM. I too am going to France this year and have had the same ‘tyre’ thoughts. I don’t have a rack so my plan is to use tyre sealant, have a ‘flexi’ return ticket so that I can delay my return should I have a damaged tyre, an internet enabled phone so that I could contact one of the four Morgan dealers that Google says there are and have them express deliver a tyre to my location and of course a credit card. A tyre inflator might be useful but not having a cigar lighter plug in is a bit of a nuisance. I have used Bikeseal in the past and bought Air-seal this time as the 950mm bottle is a more cost effective way of buying.

Hi Graeme
Thanks for the great advice - Unfortunately I didn't think of buying a flexi return ticket but will in future. Identifying French Morgan dealers is a great idea too. I see there are two Morgan dealers within striking distance on my route to the Bordeaux region so have put their numbers in my phone. I'll checkout the bike seal stuff too.
I have a crazy thought that I could probably hire out my rear ex-rack to other Super3 owners heading off on holiday! (and probably the spare front tyre too!).
I'm impressed with the rack so far, it was expensive but I was relieved to see that it is very nicely made/finished, fits very well and is a 5 minute job to install. I've mounted my "UK" sticker to the rear edge of the rack to keep the Gendarmes happy.
I hope you have a great trip!

Attaching a spare wheel and tire on the side blade of the Super 3 might give it a bit of a vintage racing look.

In a pipe dream, one would hope that the dealers would hold stock of these unique tyres and be able to send by DHL etc to wherever you are.... in todays post brexit world, one might hope that the dealer network could operate to avoid customs delays etc
