Good choice, I have a 2002 +8 from new and 80,000 miles later, no regrets whatsoever.

Welcome to the +8 family on tm. I bought my +8 in 1973, exported it in 1976, rebuilt it in 1988. To say it is part of the family is an understatement!!
My family 4 is a project waiting to start....maybe one day!!

Welcome to TM Barry, your +8`s shiny bits fairly sparkle, against it`s green paintwork, I hope you both enjoy your new acquisition to the full. I bought my nut& bolt restored mid 80`s +8 in 2002 as a substitute for the type of vintage "performance" sports car the likes of which I could not afford, my good lady`s first thought on viewing it was "perfect for a bit of Southern European touring," which we managed over a few years.... +8`s are wonderful cruisers for sure. As sospan suggests it is wise to avoid leaning on the loud pedal is certain conditions, I also use the best fuel available in mine, it deserves nothing less..
