I watched the T20 cricket final last night. Freddie was in the Lancs team.
Wicket first ball bowling.
Hit his first two balls received for 6.
Looked in very good nick.

Freddie is in many of the papers today after his appearance watching the ODI match in Cardiff. From the pictures, he looks to have had some nasty facial injuries.

One of the news outlets was quoting 130mph in a Morgan Super 3. I wonder what he was attempting to do.

I see from the Times today that Freddie Flintoff has made a settlement for £9m, equivalent to two years loss of earnings, from BBC Studios - a commercial company independent from the BBC. I would never drive any three wheeler at 130mph, but then I’m happy just pootling around. I would never drive any three wheeler at 130mph,
Tim I have driven a 3 wheeler along a runway at 130 MPH in the driving rain....................mind you it was a Cessna Citation

Interesting. The Times, Telegraph and Guardian also have reports but they all seem to be based on what a single unnamed source told The Mail on Sunday... " A source said: ‘People talk about this “high speed crash” but although the consequences were horrendous, it was no such thing.'
‘The car was actually going at 22mph when it flipped over. There is a lot of footage and it has been carefully looked at.
‘They had only just set off and were on the first corner when the car flipped and he scraped his face along the tarmac.’" I'd like to see an independent account that corroborates this, but if true it seems to me potentially more damaging to MMC than if Freddie had been driving at 130mph.
