Good evening. I have a pair of rear Avo (New Elms) shocks. With regard to the adjustment, I assume “-“ is soft??

Anticlockwise on the adjuster opens the internal valve = softer

Another little tip. if you set the dampers to full hardness, so clockwise to stop, and count the number of clicks...if you then set them counterclockwise on both sides the same number of clicks back to your desired setting, then the result will be more equal than if you start from soft to set clockwise. i hope that makes sense.

With rear shocks you will probably want them on their softest setting, unless you are doing track time. Another thing with the AVOs is that they have tabs inside that when the shock takes a good thump they bend and lock the shock at whatever setting is on. You can adjust to your hearts content after that but with no change to the shock, so test drive on a pothole free road.

My rear AVOs are set on 6 clicks up from soft.
