Wow, no wonder there is no waiting list unless you're trying to sell one.....

Yes Gary, I think they are all struggling to sell them right now, as you alluded earlier things are beginning to bite and toys are the first out the door but there are fewer takers in these times.

FWIW I think Peter has the right idea pitching his around the 70k mark I think his will sell in that area, these other folk are being romantic, well those days are over now.

Without the future of MMC being guaranteed for the next 10 years at least why would you risk ownership (I wouldn't) as they appear to be the only people capable of fixing the Aero chassis electrics and rebodying etc. I have learnt a lot through Peter J's traumatic journey and he has more patience than I do..

The Trads anyone can fix bodies or running gear so I'll be staying with my Plus 8.

I was ready to go the Plus Four route or an Aero Plus 8 but with the departure of Steve Morris I have very little confidence in the future for them now with the way things are being handled so it's very doubtful that I will unless they improve vastly.

If there was another car which offered the massive smile that the Coupe generates for me I would be in it. That's the issue for me, the mental V8, sidepipes, style and love it generates just can't be had elsewhere unless I go classic.

I contrast the lack of local dealer etc around Morgan ownership and even this looks like it would be easier.

That Alfa's slightly too "square" for my liking - I'd prefer something like the 8C!

Going back to my original post quoting Henry's Aeromax I noticed he has reduced it by 50k now a real stunner but all the top end is struggling at the moment it would seem.

Maybe with the environmental issues we are maybe seeing the start of the move away from the big ICE cars, time will tell sherlock.

It could well prove the death knell for the pure collectors and not the drivers, they become worthless if you remove the potential drivability innocent

Yeah right. A snip at £200K I'm sure, but this is hardly mass-market appeal. Good luck to all concerned.

I wonder if the fact that it is a manual has anything to do with it in this day and age?
