Hi everyone picked my car 4/4 from the dealer today after service and MOT.
After a short while I thought I heard a knocking from the back of the car that sounds at propshaft speed, why would this have been touched or any other ideas.
I will try to add a sound file so you can hear the regular clunk.
By the way not very happy as it was not doing it before the work!

Did they have the rear wheels off ? If they are wires, then they may not have been securely re-mounted.

Is the tool tray or rear shelf fixed properly?

Do you have spoked wheels?
I had a similar problem... a clonk noise that occurred at low speed when accelerating and decelerating. So always at load change. The flange for the central nut flouted to mutch.
This is on a CX vehicle...I don't know if such a flange is also attached to a 4/4.

Some Morgans are prone to the propshaft rubbing the prop shaft tunnel at the axle end. Although it may not have done it before, it is just possible that it had been running with a very small clearance. When the axle was disturbed by having the car up on a ramp and lubrication of leaf springs, it may have settled in a slightly lower position, enough to cause contact.
If other simple checks on wheels, brake drum tightness etc fail, it may be worth checking this out. Remove parcel shelf and look for witness marks where the shaft enters the tunnel.

Are they painted wires? As they wear slightly the nut comes up against the paint & can then feel tight whilst being slightly loose.
