Good one Peter.
Edwin, unlike USA most of Europe do not allow overtaking on both sides, so the "undertaking" manoeuvre by the idiot was illegal. To do it to as police car is pretty daft smile

In the first moment I didn´t realise that it wasn´t police in a "private" car.

How stupid do you have to be to overtake a police car in this way....

But maybe it was just the arrogance of a driver towards small vehicles.

Devils advocate, the police car should have pulled into the middle lane as soon as he’d cleared the slower traffic, lane hogging creates these situations, two wrongs don’t make a right.
I had the displeasure of using the motorway last week for a 900 mile round trip, despite the “keep left” signs, folk drive as if their steering wheel is welded in place, some oblivious to traffic behind, some deliberately hindering.

Totally agree, without wishing to upset Gumbalunga it appears the camera car didn't bother pulling over either once the middle lane was clear towards the end of the video.....

We drove to the South Spain & back over Easter & the only lane hogging we saw was on the bit between home & Folkestone, with the exception of an idiot in the middle of Spain miles from anywhere, we had the cruise control set at about 90mph, hadn't seen another vehicle for getting on for an hour & came across some one doing about 40mph in the middle lane obviously having an argument on his mobile phone & hadn't got a clue what was going on around him.

The HGV and LGV appear to be the only one's using the road as intended is my observation during this brief clip tbh.

During the late seventies when we worked in West Germany for 3 years undertaking was quite common and appeared to be acceptable at the time OOI.

If memory serves me well HGV's were not allowed on the motorways on the Sunday unless they were carrying perishable goods - some of our German colleagues might like to say how it is nowadays ?
