Hi Lauren's, trust you have been able to use your M3W this summer despite the ongoing issues.

A recently revived thread by expert AlisterW provides a link to his very in depth findings on the TSM module. Its a long read in English but in essence explains how a fragile failed component in the TSM can leave the ignition permanently live whilst ignition switch is off!

Thanks for your information.
I’ve read the article, it’s a difficult read, special if you not have too much knowledge about this matter.

The car is still running with the VSS wire disconnected. The idling isn’t as smoothly as before but acceptable.
Hope to find one day a better solution.
