Actually, the rear axle was moved rearward not forward. That sadly made a rear collision disaster
MUCH MORE likely for the 10,000s of trads made before June 1993 if they swap to newer leaf springs. After that
date, the Morgan brakes were changed eliminating the issue The later 4 leaf springs also centered the
wheels in the rear wells, something some moggers wanted. The risk can be sorted simply and cheaply, but
not all sellers of the newer springs mention it. They should.

BTW,. one can also center the earlier rear axles with an adjustment saddle plate made by Mulfab.
