Again only rain in Tuscany... wanted actually via Imola to Ravenna.
Imola but unfortunately falls into the water.

Out for a quick spin across the foothills of Exmoor. Departed the Quantock Hills, then up over the Brendon Hills to Dulverton, a nice stop at the Anchor Inn at Exbridge by the river for a coffee.. a lot of Mayfly hatch about... Then back following the river upto Weddon Cross and down into Dunster, from there left into Minehead and out to the "Old Ship Aground" at Minehead's small harbour area. A lot of bikers with their bikes having a coffee in Minehead. Then back home again to the Quantocks.. All in all, a good drive out and sunny warm weather all the way. The Plus Six went well.. Tomorrow will be the job of cleaning and removing all the bug splats!.

Here in Italy / Tuscany it is still raining and it is quite fresh with 13 degrees. The next May vacation should go to UK 😀

Where are you Clemens? We usually are in Italy including one week in Tuscany in May, sometime May/June but by then, you could already feel it becoming too hot. Mostly near San Gimignano.I did regret we don't manage to go to Italy this year, but I think that helas we were better off at home in The Netherlands. I pity all the people suffering from the floodings etc. We mostly used the car train, sometimes to Livorno, or Verona or the last times the Nightjet to Innsbruck. If I think off that I must admit that we often experienced problems with the car train back to Dusseldorf, due to heavy rainfall. Onetime we were forced to drive all the way back in our 4/4 to The Netherlands from Tuscany in 3 days, there Nightjet could not follow the track in Southern Germany because off the rainfall. The weather in Tuscany was nice all those times. Have a save trip back.
We are heading north in 10 days, to Denmark, with a couple off other Morgans, destination Samsø to the (re-)opening(?) of Preben's Morgan Garage.

So the plan used to look like this....
Start in the Black Forest, Bergamo, Florence, Abbadia San Salvatore, Ravenna, Lago D'Iseo (a bit of work), Bolzano and back to the Black Forest. The whole in 14 days.
We have cancelled Ravenna because of the flooding and are today in La Spezia and tomorrow go to Lago D'Iseo.
We broke the bracket for the luggage bridge today during the ride. That was not a nice experience.

Aiai.how can that happen!?? No collateral damage? You mean the part connected with the spare wheel nut?
