For the German market (and some others) OSRAM has street legal H4-LED Nightbreaker for Morgan.in their range. I fitted my Roadster with them and light is really good.

This website shows the LED status per country. For NL the morgan Roadster is in the clear for led drop in replacement.
I guess another benefit for those residing in EU.
The point is that the approved LED, have dimensions of the light source comparible to the filament in a bulp. Hence they perform similarly- except for intenity.
I am very happy with the LED H4 replacement I intalled on my Roadster, it is a lot safer.

Sadly UK MOT legislation now states cars after 1986 can't have LED bulbs in replacement of H4s. Hence my complete replacement headlights.
Prior to the change I had H4 replacement LEDs that were great I'm glad you guys can use them.

Even full LED sealed replacements come under suspicion given the very low prices of some on eBay, usually 7 inch round for Jeep or Land Rover. Dare I suggest of Chinese origin there are videos showing how poor they are compared to those of mainstream brands with prices to match. Although not an MOT requirement I chose E marked full LED headlamps.
