I think I need a new indicator switch for my 1975 4/4. The switch latches when indicating one way but I need to hold the switch arm activated to indicate the other way. Unit is a Lucas 30390B 119SA (that’s what’s marked on it). Does anyone know if it’s possible to repair (doesn’t seem possible to dismantle) or where if needed I can get a replacement.

It's probably a British Leyland of that period.

Not the right one for 1975.

Correct one is actually Ford Transit Mk1.

Very hard to get hold of but I do have a couple I might be persuaded to part with.

Goog luck in replacing. I think rescue is at hand. As it did function for nearly half a century, there's no need for complaining. A new one and you can complete the whole century....! laugh2

I fitted one from an Austin Mini mk2/mk3 - fraction of the cost of a Morgan one. Connector Plug was different, but I cut the plug of the old one, and fitted it to the new switch.

Also it's shorter so easily accesible from the wheel, and you don't have to put all those bends in....

Contact Huddersfield Classic Mini spares. I have just replaced mine. Don't forget to use a relay. I didn't on my last one and burnt it out. The part number you need is SQB168 , switch 119sa. my came in a Lucas box. As TBM stated above you will have to make it fit.

Be careful of some of this Lucas boxed stuff, some (not all) are poor quality copycat parts made offshore, Caveat Emptor and keep your receipt !
