Post Covid they have been unable to recruit staff like so many other catering establishments and of course they are fairly remote which doesn't help.
They put a plea out on their Facebook site at the time.
Lots of the "sniffy" end of the market nosebags down here have limited opening hours or days in our area.

A classic Mini restorer recently placed a full page ad, desperately appealing for experienced staff, inc spanner shaker, panel beater, painter, storeman, apparently lots of over 55 to 60's never returned post Covid and he's turning more work down than he's actually taking on

Saturday at the Spa classic Peter auto. 10 morgan from the french morgan club, several from uk
1 plus six , 4 plus four ,one plus four on the racetrack. Hundred of racing cars from de fifties untill now.
It is incredible how those owners are able to keep those cars running.

They have created a Marine Academy down here to attract and train youngsters into the boatyards and Marinas that abound in the area which hopefully will work out well in the long view.

Well that is Haynes off the list. Do they still do the 1 m hot dog? On the FolkMog Dorset holiday last summer the Haynes visit included a cold buffet lunch. Still worth a visit though if only for the presentation of vehicles, simply the best I've ever seen. A recent £4m cash injection from their share of sales of publishing company, and time to spend it during Covid shutdown has helped though.

On the TM visit we got behind the scenes at the workshops. They restore not only the museum stock but also private vehicles for eye watering costs but superb attention to detail. I agree Richard it is well worth a visit & a good spot to take a break on the A303

A grand day out to the DonMog Grass Autotest. Spent the afternoon driving round cones in various directions. Tomorrow afternoon will be spent vacuuming grass out of every part of the car. Well worth it though. Great fun.
