Does anyone know if it is possible to fit an MSA approved roll bar to a car with a factory easy up hood. A 2009 Roadster to be precise.

I know Librands do a hood friendly bar but not for competition use.

Only thinking for sprints and hill climbs, not circuit racing.

The hood does not allow an MSA roll bar as it is too low. Is the Librands two piece roll over compliant.

I bought mine from Techniques, since they sponsor the Speedmog challenge. I didnt ask for msuk homologation certificates, but I havent had any problems with scrutineering so far. Its a bit of a stretch/interference fit for the front hoop, but could no doubt be fettled. Im happy with it, 2003 +8 with factory easyup hood.

Can you buy this and have a nice chrome rollbar that fits under the roof to everyday use

and swap out the top for this for one when you need an approved bar for competition use

If I read it right they can be swapped in minutes.
