Well, just endured the annual run ring around and tried Cherished as a classic Mini owner in our club had said they were amazing when his car had to be repatriated from a nasty accident abroad
I'm pleased to say they understand Mogs, accepted my mods list and even raised the 'screen limit when I queried the small print, all at a good saving compared to MSCC approved co's
Plus, stated in cover • Theft Cover for the vehicle if it has an unpowered hood and is left with this down whilst parked.

I've just done the insurance renewal for my 4/4. I've been with Headley (now Finch) for nearly 25 years but I'd heard a fair bit of criticism about them recently, so I wasn't expecting much.
The renewal premium came out at £315.75 (fully comp, unlimited mileage, recovery, legal cover, retained salvage, 90 days EU cover, insured for rallies and track days but no hillclimbing). So an increase of £1.75 over last year.
I'm happy.
